Trompe l’oeil
Not everything is what it seems to be. Although the use of Trompe l’oeil is applied within mural paintings, it can as easily apply to anything that “ tricks the eye” including painted faux tapestries.
Often incorporated into an interior design scheme or just for the fun of visual tricks, trompe l’oeil is one of the oldest tools in the painters box.
